I Predict a Ra Ra Riot

Barsuk Records has got a great new release headed your way in the form of Ra Ra Riot’s The Rhumb Line. The band has tour with the likes of Tokyo Police Club and Editors, and have been listed as one of the Top 5 and Top 10 bands at CMJ [2007] and SXSW [2008] by NME. The Rhumb Line, the band’s debut full-length, was produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Gossip, Islands, Blonde Redhead) over late 2007. In terms of sound, their closest comparison is Vampire Weekends, though I think they possess a lot more talent and a lot less Paul Simon counterfeiting.
