Web Sheriff Strikes Again

Within a few hours of my post of the Raconteurs latest video, I recieved a comment from Web Sheriff. Man, he’s on a roll. But don’t get all fired up, the Sheriff offered up a link to embed a Raconteurs widget to my site. Unfortunately I didn’t see a WordPress option on there, and for some reason, WordPress has always been a pain about embedding things. As easy as it is to say ‘damn the man’, at least the man is trying to help out a little. And it’s cool ol’ Jack White tried his best at a ’surprise’ album.

On the subject of CotL, we’d add (’creepily’ or otherwise !!) that, ultimately, it is an artist’s decision as to how they allow their release to be distributed on-line, as it’s their music and, hopefully, fans and bloggers will respect that choice … .. particularly in circumstances where, in this instance, the band have gone out-of-their-way to get this record to the fans as quickly as possible (and where they are also providing a copy of their video in widget form off their web-site).
