Flammable Material: Vampire Weekend

Beyond Santagold, the Vampire Weekend is catching fire pretty quickly too. I’ve noticed in the past I’ve avoided “blog bands” only to give them a chance three or six or twelve months later and wished I wasn’t so anti-trend oriented. This is certainly a “blog band”; this is certainly worth checking out. In summary, Vampire Weekend sounds like Paul Simon fronting the Strokes…if Andrew Bird also played in the Strokes…and was a die-hard Police fan.

why is vampire weekend getting so big ?
whats up with all the hype bands ? There are way better bands than vampire weekend with more innovative songs than A-PUNK !!!
