Title Track: Death Cab Names Album

Instead of working on a powerpoint presentation highlighting centuries of Assyrian oppression in Iraq, I somehow drifted into familiar territory: Death Cab For Cutie. It turns out, their album due out in May has a title: Narrow Stairs, as well as a few tracknames. I’m unbelievably scared about this album to say the least. I’ve heard too many “we have nothing to prove” and “curveball” quotes for my stomach to handle.

Justice, Diplo Log In with Myspace Music Tour

I’m not going to lie, every bone in my body tells me to quit myspace, but I just can’t quite do it. It’s going on 4 years since my first sign-up. That’s the most committed relationship I’ve ever been in. Quit or no quit, Myspace is having another sponsored tour, this time featuring the likes of Justice and Diplo. Normally I wouldn’t think twice about even considering going to such a camera toting corporatation sponsored horny teen fest, but seriously, who doesn’t like to dance (or should I say “D.A.N.C.E.”) . Sure it’d be like crashing a high school (or maybe middle school) house party, but at least great bands would be the entertainment, instead of T-Pain playing off an iPod. Here’s the dates:
