The 2008 Grammy nominations have been announced, and to say the least, what the hell?
Amy Winehouse – Record/Song/Album of the Year, etc?! She has drugs and Mark Ronson to thank.
Good to see Feist with some nominations, as well as Justice, Wilco, Joni Mitchell, & LCD Soundsystem. The Best Alternative Music Album nominee’s section is also fairly noteworthy (no pun intended):
Lily Allen – “Alright, Still…“
Arcade Fire – “Neon Bible“
Bjork – “Volta“
The Shins – “Wincing the Night Away“
The White Stripes – “Icky Thump“
