Radical Discovery

Posted by dancehallhips on January 15, 2008

Last year was full of releases. So much so I got so wrapped up in the more “mainstream” indie albums that I forgot all about digging a little below the surface. Needless to say, I’m sort of backtracking and looking for bands I never got a chance to listen to up until now.

One such band is Radical Face, a side project of Electric President (or is Electric President a side project of Radical Face?). The best way I can describe the album is this: To me Page France is a very summer-centric soundtrack. Radical Face is a lot darker, more complexed, more fall/winter oriented. So, if Page France grew bitter and wrote more cold-weather songs, that’s what Ghost would be.
